A Realistic Suggestion if MLB returns to Montreal

Two and a half weeks ago, baseball made its return to Montreal as the Toronto Blue Jays and New York Mets played a two game exhibition series. Toronto won both games in front of very huge crowds at Olympic Stadium. After seeing such enthusiasm from the fans, it is clear that they want to see baseball return to Montreal. If a MLB team decided to relocate suddenly and Montreal is the beneficiary of that team, here would be a possible suggestion.

It is clear that they cannot play at the Big O because it has become so obsolete but just like what the Nationals did from 2005 till 2007, the team would have to play a year or two there before a new stadium can be built. However where would the new stadium be located. There have been studies that a good location would be close to where the Victoria Bridge is located or even where the old Hippodrome used to be located but the only question is will people complain that it is too far? Or will they be jumping in jubilation like they did in 1969 when the original Expos began their inaugural season?
All in all, if Montreal gets a MLB team, they would have to look at this suggestion so that it will give them some time to build a proper and modern building that fans will enjoy watching 81 home games a year.
